Dajim is currently the hottest rapper in Thailand. He started his voyage in musical career as a sales staff at Tower Records, where he could spend a lot of time listening to all kinds of music. During that time, this Hip-Hop guru also kept practicing writing songs, hoping for his chance to arrive. One day, it really did, when he met a long lost friend, “Dj Dig-it-all”, who agreed to produce an album with him. In the year 2000, his very first album, “Hip Hop Under World”, was founded together with the New York Underground Club Company, in order to manage the marketing system without using any media. Dajim and his buddy created their distribution channels through a few major music shops, such as, DJ Siam. One year later, Dajim launched his second underground album called “Hip Hop Above The Law”. The sales of this album jumped up ten times above the first one (700 : 7,000 copies) because of its savage and independent content. However, it also brought Dajim a trouble when government officers did not seem to appreciate what he wrote, and put him through investigation processes. But after the rain has gone, Dajim had a chance to discuss with Jinnee Record, where became a new home for his third album “Rap Thai” in 2002, and the latest one “Twilight Zone” in 2003. The contents in these two albums still reflect the out-of-the-box ideas of Dajim, but their wordings were modified to be softer so that his songs can be spreaded to wider groups of audiences.
